A Rurrenabaque!Hola amigos,
Hoy os escribo a medio camino entre Santa Cruz (donde vivo trabajando en el canal de televisión) y Rurenabaque (nuestro destino): Trinidad (una pequeña ciudad de la selva).
El tema es que a inicios de esta semana vino un grupo de jóvenes del College Southern University de USA para ayudar a construir un nuevo edificio en el orfanato (o algo parecido). Nosotros en un arrebato de locura se nos ha ocurrido irnos con ellos para así también visitar esta zona de Rurenabaque que, según dice la gente, es una de las más bonitas de Bolivia. Es la parte donde se encuentra la selva amazónica y las montañas andinas. Allí uno puede ver un montón de mosquitos, cocodrilos, serpientes, etc. Yo espero sólo ver mosquitos, y quizás algun otro animal pero a varios quilómetros de distancia:P
Si sobrevivimos más de un día, el plan será estar 10 días. También estamos pensando (yo y los 2misioneros más que me acompañan) ir a la frontera con Brasil (Guayaramerí) para renovar nuestro pasaporte y así poder permanecer en Bolivia 3meses más.

My friends made me some special banner with "Happy birthday" and a little surprise fest with "Cheese empanada" (It's my favourite eatin from Bolivia). We after went to eat to a pizzeria and have some fun time together. Now we are back to the work and with a new adventure for the volunteers: there are a group of 15 scholar from Souther University (USA) who has come today to go to Rurenabaque... it's a village where Gospelministry has a school and they are going to help building new houses, etc... and we (the 3 volunteers that work in the station) will probably have the opportunity to go there as well with them. Now we are managing with the tickets and all this kind of stuff. So... if we go there you won't have more news about me until 2weeks after, but then the news will be probably very interesting: that's the real jungle! With pumas, crocodriles, mosquitoes, etc :S Not my favorite place to live, but just an interesting place to see. Have fun, your friend Ferran |
